Gerry Kelly 
Gerry’s background includes twenty years experience as a Community Development Worker and Social Worker.
He was one of the founders of the Sheffield Irish Association and was its inaugural chair. This work was held up by the Irish Government as the model which all community organisations should follow.
For the past five years his work has included leading on some of the first individual budgets pilots in the country as part of the personalisation agenda. This has included the first use of education, health and social care budgets.
He has supported a number of Local Authorities, national organisations and charities to implement self directed support and personal budgets. This work has included every aspect from first steps planning right through to the evaluation of the impact of individual budgets.
